This article describes the Company Revenue report, which shows revenue by Company broken down month by month for a selected year.
Overview
The Company Revenue report lists the revenue attributed to each Company for a selected year, broken down across the twelve months, with an annual Total for each Company and a Grand Total for the property.
Companies can be sorted alphabetically or by revenue, and Companies with no revenue can be hidden.
It is an Operational Revenue report. Finance and sales staff typically run it to see which Companies generate revenue and when across the year.
Use Cases
- Review Company contribution - finance runs the report for the year to see the total revenue from each Company and how it falls across the months.
- Rank top accounts - sort by Revenue to list the highest-revenue Companies first.
- Compare year on year - run the report for a previous year to compare a Company's revenue against the current year.
