The Report Run Audit Report records each occasion a Report has been generated in RMS, including the User who ran it and the IP Address it was run from.
Overview
The Report Run Audit Report provides a log of every report run by a User in RMS within the selected date range. It records when a Report was generated, the User who ran it, and the IP Address from which it was run.
Run times are recorded in UTC time (Coordinated Universal Time). The report can be generated in the preferred time zone to view run times in local time.
The Report Run Audit Report can also be filtered by a specific User or IP Address, and is exported to CSV.
Enable Logs for Reporting
Enable the following setting to start showing the reports run by Users.
You only need to activate this setting once, unless it has been turned off for some reason.
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > General Information.
- Navigate to the Guest Options tab.
- Select Enable Log when Reports are Run for Report Run Audit.
- Select Save/Exit.

Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Management > Security > Report Run Audit.
- Select a Date Range.
- Select a Time Zone.
(Optional) Select a User.
(Optional) Enter an IP Address. - Select Export to CSV.
Report Columns
The Report Run Audit downloads as a CSV file. The first four rows of the file contain summary information about the report run, followed by the column headers and data:

Each subsequent row records a single Report run within the selected date range:

Use Cases
- Investigating sensitive data access - the Manager runs the report for the past week to confirm which Users have generated reports that contain guest or financial information.
- Confirming a Scheduled Report ran - the System Administrator filters by a specific User to verify that an automated Scheduled Report was generated as expected.
- Reviewing remote activity - the System Administrator filters by IP Address to identify which Reports have been run from outside the property's usual network.
