Create a reservation from the Quick Quote interactive map

A Reservation can be created using an Inhouse Interactive Map on the Quick Quote screen.

 

Overview

An Interactive Map is a map uploaded by the Property that can be used to view availability or create a Reservation in the selected Area.

Quick Quote is a Reservation tool that can be used to search, quote and compare availability for a Category, Area or Rate Type across multiple Properties.

The Reservation created using an Interactive Map will be a Fixed Reservation in the selected Area.

A Fixed Reservation is a Reservation that has been set to prevent the Area from being changed.

Important! Inhouse Interactive Maps are only available for use in‑house and are not reflected online.

 

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Reservations > Quick Quote.

  1. Select a 'Category' or 'Rate Type'.
  2. Enter Reservation Details and select 'Get Quote'.

  3. Select the 'Rate Type' or 'Category'.
  4. Select the 'Interactive Map' icon.

  5. Select a Map.
  6. Select an Available Area.
  7. Select 'Add Reservation'.

  8. Enter the Guest Details.
  9. Select 'Save/Exit'.
