A guide to setting the Market Segment field as mandatory in RMS.
Overview
Market Segment is a Lookup Table that can be used to record and report on revenue sources by market on a reservation.
A Market Segment can be assigned to a Company, Travel Agent, Rate Type, Discount, or Online Channel Connection.

Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Users > Field Maintenance.
- Select Manager (Default) as the User.
- Select the checkbox Market Segment.
(Optional) Select the checkbox Sub Market Segment. - Select the checkbox Mandatory on Save.
- Select Save/Exit.
★ Tip: After saving changes to the setup, Users should log out of RMS and then
Log back in to ensure the database updates and reflects the modifications.
