The Authentication Device is the user's device with an authenticator application that was connected to their RMS User.
Overview
Activating Two-Factor Authentication in RMS requires all users to connect their RMS User to their chosen authenticator application or enter an email verification code the next time they log in.
If a user loses their device or needs to replace their device for any reason, they can connect a new authentication device in RMS.
✎ Please note: Users can only replace their own Authentication Device.
✎ Please Note: Two Factor Administrators can provide users with a backup verification code if they cannot access their current authentication device.
✎ Please Note: RMS is highly configurable. Some Terminology, User Access & Permissions, Images, Labels, and Functions used in these articles may differ from your setup. CLICK HERE to find out more.
