Move Categories to the Owner Record

How to move a Category between Properties in an RMS Enterprise Database.

 

Overview

In enterprise databases, users can move Categories between properties to streamline operations and maintain consistency.

This may be required for holiday-style lettings, when organisational structures change, or when categories need to be standardised across multiple locations.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Categories/Areas.

  1. Select a Property.
  2. Select a Category.
  3. Select 'Move'.

  4. Select the Destination Property.

  5. Select 'Move/Exit'.

    Repeat Steps all required Properties and Categories.
