Replacement Door Key

Information on cutting additional Keys in RMS when using the Door Lock module.

 

Overview

Keys can be created on a Reservation to provide Guest access when using a Door Lock module.

A Door Lock module enables creating Keys and managing Guest access directly in RMS using the available connection with the Door Lock provider.

Cutting new keys will disable previously cut keys for this Area.

★ Tip: The Door Lock module is required to utilise the key cutting features.

 

Guide

Open the Reservation in RMS.

  1. Select 'Extra Door Key'.

  2. Select the 'Key Option'.
  3. Select the Encoder.
    Edit the Valid From Time (Optional).
    Edit the Valid To Time (Optional).
  4. Enter the Keys to Cut.
  5. Select Cut Keys.

✎ Please Note: Options on the Key Cutting screen vary based on the connected Door Lock partner.
