Overview

This utility will recalculate and update the Quoted Rate to the new value based on the current Rate & Tax Setup on all future reservations with the selected Rate Type and an Arrival Date greater than or equal to the date selected if the Reservation Status is Unconfirmed, Confirmed or Quote.

Reservations within the selected criteria where the Accommodation Charges have been created on the account will have these charges voided and then recreated at the new value.

Reservations within the selected criteria where a Tax Invoice has been created against the Accommodation Charges will not have the rate recreated at a new value.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Tools > Recalculate Future Rates.

1. Enter the Daily Password and select 'Ok'.
   
    
2. Select Update All Future Reservations
3. Select the Future Arrive Date.
4. Select the required Rate Type.
5. Select the required Category and/or Area.
   Select the checkbox 'Post Rate on Account' (Optional).
   Select the checkbox 'Update First Deposit Amount' (Optional).
6. Select 'Apply'.
   
    
7. Select 'Yes' to confirm.
   

All reservations within the selected criteria where the Reservation Status is Unconfirmed, Confirmed or Quote will have the Quoted Rate recalculated to use the current rate and tax setup.

A confirmation will show in the bottom right corner of the screen once the process is complete.
