Guide to manually merging duplicate Guest Profiles in RMS.
Overview
Fields with a symbol indicate an RMS Smart Search field.
Guest Profiles with an active account cannot be merged.
RMS will use the contact information stored on the newest Guest Profile (highest Guest ID) and combine this information into the oldest Guest Profile (lowest Guest ID).
✎ Please note: Merging of Guest Profiles cannot be undone. Only choose to proceed if confirmed the selected profiles are for the same Guest or Guests.
★ Tip: Guest profiles with Bank account details that do not match will NOT be merged.

Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Reservations > Guest Search .
- Enter the Search Text.
- Select the Search Option.
- Select 'Search'.
- Select the duplicate Guest Profiles.
- Select Merge.
- Verify the Expected Result.
- Select 'Yes'.
- Verify information in additional Warnings.
- Select 'Yes'.
