CIAA Data Collection

Information on data collection for the CIAA in RMS.

 

Information

The Caravan Industry Association of Australia collects anonymous data from RMS for properties that have opted in.  Properties that would like to opt in must complete the setup outlined in this article.  

★ Helpful Information: The anonymous data sent to the CIAA includes the Current Year, State, CIAA Category Total Available, CIAA Category Total Occupied and CIAA Category Revenue.

No identifying information is provided to the Caravan Industry Association of Australia as part of this data.

Setup

In the Side Menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > General Information

  1. Navigate to the Options Menu
  2. Set the 'System Type' to Caravan Park.
  3. Save/Exit.

  4. Click on your User Profile
  5. 'Logout' of RMS.

  6. Log back in to RMS and in the Side Menu, go to Setup > Category/Area
  7. Edit a Category

  8. Navigate to Category Details
  9. Select the relevant CIAA Category
  10. Save/Exit

  11. Repeat Steps 7-10 for all Categories.
  12. In the Side Menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.
  13. 'Edit' an existing Property.

  14. Navigate to the 'Options' tab.
  15. Select the checkbox 'Agree to transfer anonymous property data to the CIAA'.
  16. Save/Exit.

  17. Repeat steps 13-16 for all properties you want to send data for. 

The property data will be included in the export sent to the CIAA each night from RMS.
