Overview
Requirements are extra items or services that a guest can choose to include in their reservation via the Booking Engine.
Each Requirement can be configured to be included in, or excluded from, the deposit required at the time of booking. Inventory for Requirements cannot be limited.
Add Ons are a Category Class used to manage extra bookable items that can be included on an existing reservation.
Add Ons can be used to manage the set availability of additional items, including car parks, roll-away beds, cots, boats, and bicycles.
Add Ons can be added to a reservation or sold independently.
Add Ons can be viewed with reservations on the Booking Chart. Add On availability can be viewed on the Add Ons Chart or made available for sale on the RMS Booking Engine.
The 'Number of Areas to Hold from RMS Online' option will deduct the value entered from the availability for any connected channel mapped to that Category.

Add Ons Online Setup
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Category/Area.
- Select 'Edit' on an existing Add Ons Category.
 - Navigate to the 'Online Options' tab.
- Select the checkbox 'Available to RMS Online'.
- Enter the Number of Areas to Hold from RMS Online (Optional).
The option 'Number of Areas to Hold from RMS Online' will deduct the value entered from the availability for any connected channel mapped with that Category. - Select an Add Ons Charge.
- Select Save/Exit.

Online Options Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Online Bookings > Online Options.
- Navigate to the Requirements and Extras tab.
- Select the Requirements to Show Online.
- Select to Exclude from Deposit (Optional).
- Select the Add Ons to Show Online.
- Select to Exclude from Deposit (Optional).
- Select Save
