How to Add or Remove "Reservation Notes" for bookings made via the RMS Booking Engine.
Information
The RMS Booking Engine includes an optional Reservation Note field, allowing guests to leave a message for the property when making an online booking.
This field can be easily added to or removed from the booking engine.

Guide
In the side menu of RMS, navigate to Setup > Users > Field Maintenance
- In the "User" Column, select RMS Online
- In the "Reservation Details" Column, Select/Deselect "Reservation Note"

Save & Exit
★ Tip: Repositioning the Reservation Note Field in the Field Maintenance will not change its position in the RMS Booking Engine. The Reservation Note field is only available to the "User" of "RMSOnline". -
If selected, the reservation note field is displayed under "Additional Details" on the Checkout Page of the RMS Booking Engine.
- When the Reservation is received into RMS, the Online Travel Agent (OTA) is added to the Travel Agent field

And the OTA Notes and Reservation Notes are added to the OTA Note field.
★ Tip: The OTA field is "Read Only" and will include OTA Notes and Reservation Notes from the RMS Booking Engine/RMS Book Now Button, as well as all other OTAs. -
Tip: You may need to click on the OTA Note header to expand and view the note.
