Housekeeper Forecast Report

This article describes the Housekeeper Forecast report, which shows the number of housekeeping tasks scheduled for each date in a selected range.

 

Overview

The Housekeeper Forecast Report will show all scheduled Housekeeping Tasks and the tally for each date within the selected date range.

The report lists one row per date, with a column for each housekeeping Task Type configured for the property. It helps housekeeping managers forecast the workload and plan staffing across the selected period.

Use Cases

  • Staff planning - Forecast how many of each housekeeping task fall on each day so you can roster the right number of housekeepers.
  • Daily preparation - Run the report for the day or week ahead to see the upcoming servicing, departure, and turn-down workload.
  • Workload by task type - Compare the volume of each task type (for example Departure cleans vs Daily Service) across the date range.

Report Options

The report options below control the date range, grouping, and level of detail. Additional options are available by clicking More Options on the report panel.

Report Option Type Default Description
Housekeeping Tasks Between Date range Today The date range the housekeeping tasks are forecast for.
Group By Dropdown No Grouping

Breaks the output into sections. Options:

  • Property
  • Category
  • No Grouping
  • Housekeepers
Interconnecting Dropdown Show Master Only

Controls how interconnecting Areas are counted. Options:

  • Show Master Only
  • Show Physical Area Only
Summary Checkbox Unchecked Shows a summary view of task tallies instead of the per-date detail.
Show Total Task Minute Checkbox Unchecked Adds the total task time (in minutes) for the tasks on the report.
Property Multi-select dropdown All Selected Limits the report to selected properties. Appears on multi-property databases only.
Category Multi-select dropdown All Limits the report to the selected Categories.

 

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Reports > Daily > Housekeeper Forecast.

  1. Select the Date Range.
  2. Select the Categories.
  3. Select a Group By option.
    (Optional) Select the Summary option.
  4. Select Build.

Report Columns

The report shows one row per date. Each date has a column for every housekeeping Task Type configured for the property, and a Grand Total row totals each task column across the date range.

Column Description Source / Calculation
Date The date the housekeeping tasks are scheduled for. Housekeeping task schedule.
Task Type columns One column for each housekeeping Task Type configured for the property (for example Pre Arrival Check, Departure, Hold Over Dep Clean, Daily Service, Turn Down Service). Each cell shows the number of that task scheduled on the date. Housekeeping task setup. These columns vary by property.
Grand Total The total number of each task type across the selected date range. Sum of each task column.
