What to do if you cannot log in to RMS because your property has reached its user limit.
Why You Are Seeing This Message
Your property's RMS subscription includes a set number of User Licences: the number of users that can be logged in to RMS at the same time. When every licence is in use, RMS will not allow another user to log in until a licence becomes available.
This message does not mean there is a problem with your username or password. It means all of your property's User Licences are currently in use by other users.
What You Can Do
- Ask a colleague who has finished working in RMS to select 'Log out', then try logging in again.
- If you still cannot log in, contact the System Administrator at your organisation. This is the person who manages RMS for your property, such as an owner or manager. They can free up a licence or increase your property's user limit.
For System Administrators
A System Administrator can resolve the lockout in RMS:
- Free up a licence now - go to Setup > Users > Active Sessions and end any sessions that are no longer in use. See How to view Active Sessions for Current Users.
- Increase your User Licences - go to RMS Billing in the side menu and change the number of User Licences on the 'Subscription Details' tab. See RMS Billing & User Licences.
- Prevent future lockouts - ask users to select 'Log out' when they finish working in RMS rather than closing the browser tab, and use the Auto Log Off function to automatically log out inactive users.
