Overview

The Xero Online Financial Export can be sent via API connection or as a downloaded file from RMS.

Xero Online is accounting software that can be connected to RMS for both Cash and Accrual Accounting properties.

The interface to Xero Online enables properties to map their General Ledger Account Codes to ledger movements and payments, and export this financial information directly into the accounting software from RMS.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Utilities > Financial Interface.

1. Select a Property.
2. Select the Run Date.
3. Select an Export Type.
4. Select 'Build'
   

API Send

The Export Type of 'API Send' will open a Xero login page and require connecting to the property's Xero account before the file can be sent from RMS.

Download Export File

The Export Type 'Download Export File' will generate a .csv file export that can be manually imported into the property's Xero account.
