Link Inhouse Interactive Maps

In-house Interactive Maps are a feature that enables uploading multiple maps of the Property that can be linked together.

 

Overview

Linking multiple Interactive Maps in RMS enables navigation to more detailed maps. 

Interactive Maps can be used for viewing Availability or creating Reservations in RMS.

Property maps that work best as an Interactive Map are simple outlines of Areas with the Area Description and amenities, street names and key landmarks noted.

Property maps will need to be in JPG format and at least 3200 x 1800 pixels.

Colour Overlays highlight available, booked, and attribute-matched Areas, as well as any linked map on the Interactive Map. They can be customised.

Interactive Maps include Attribute filters that will highlight matching Areas using the selected colour.

★ Tip: Inhouse Interactive Maps are a complimentary optional feature included in the base RMS subscription. Properties must supply their own map images.
⚠ Important: Inhouse Interactive Maps are only available for use in‑house and are not reflected online.

 

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Charts > Interactive Map.

  1. Select the Map Management icon used to open the Interactive Map management panel.‘Map Management’ icon.

  2. Upload an Interactive Map.

  3. Enter the Map.
  4. Select the Application as ‘RMS’.
  5. Select Upload.
    Navigate to the Map image within File Explorer, and Open.

  6. Select a Map.
  7. Select the Category and Area.
  8. Click to draw the Map Outline.
  9. Select 'Save/Exit'.
