Configure a Category to allow Multiple Reservations over the same time

How to enable a Category to accept multiple reservations at the same time in RMS.
 

Overview

The 'Allow Multiple Reservations Over the Same Time' option enables multiple reservations within the same Area, even if a reservation already exists.

This can be useful in scenarios such as outdoor spaces where guest numbers are capped, and each guest requires an individual reservation for billing purposes.

⚠ Important: This setting permits multiple reservations to be made in the same Area for the same date and time, which may result in overbookings if not carefully managed.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS Side, go to Setup > Category/Area.

  1. Select 'Edit' on an existing Category.

  2. Select the checkbox 'Allow multiple reservations over the same time'.
  3. Select 'Save/Exit'.
