How to add a Reservation via the Make Reservation menu option.
Overview
The Make Reservation feature is available in the side menu of RMS, and enables Users to create a new reservation without navigating away from their current view.
The Reservation Screen provides central management of individual reservations and guest in RMS.
The Category, Area and Rate Type available for selection on the reservation are determined by the Rate Setup, Restrictions, Availability, Allotments and Security Profiles.
Additional tabs will display depending on the setup and modules used in RMS.
Fields displayed on the Reservation Screen can be customised using Field Maintenance.
Guide
In the RMS side menu, go to Reservations > Make Reservation.
(Fields will vary depending on Field Maintenance, Mandatory fields selected and modules activated within the database).
- Enter the Guest Details.
(Select a matching Guest Profile from the Smart Search after entering the Guest Details if the guest has stayed previously and has an existing Guest Profile. - Enter the Reservation Details.
- Enter any additional Account Details.
- Select 'Save\Exit'.
Reservation and Account numbers are automatically generated when a new reservation is initially saved.
