Information
The Security menu in RMS provides advanced security setup options for managing access to your RMS database.
- Password Management provides configuration options for complex passwords as well as rules to determine the frequency a User must change their password.
- Two-factor authentication provides an additional layer of security on login and makes it difficult for any unauthorised individual to access RMS even if they obtain a user's login credentials.
- Restricted IP Addresses ensure only specified devices with a listed static IP address can log into the RMS database.
- Single Sign On (SSO) allows users to access multiple applications using a single login with an Identity Provider.
- Domain Authentication enables properties subscribed to the EDM module to be able to send email campaigns and validates property domains for sending emails as the property from within RMS.
⚠ Important Information: Two Factor Authentication, Restricted IP Addresses or Single Sign On (SSO) must be enabled to provide an appropriate layer of security for access to the Property's RMS database.
Users will be prompted on login when one of these options is not configured in the database.
