The Notifications tab in Online Options controls confirmation email settings and notification preferences for the RMS Booking Engine.
Overview
The Notifications tab in the Online Options section of RMS includes settings for confirmation email addresses, options to include on confirmation emails and the ability to disable confirmation emails from sending.
Properties can choose to add custom text to the confirmation email to provide personalised messages or important information for guests. A Redirection URL setting is also available in this tab - this is a legacy feature and is not supported in the New Booking Engine.

★ Tip: Only Reservation Confirmation 1 is mandatory on this screen. IBE\Channel Contact is auto generated from Contacts. All other settings are optional.
Go to Setup > Online Bookings > Online Options.
- Navigate to the Notifications tab.
- Email Notifications - enter the Name and email address that the online booking confirmation email needs to send to. Option to select to send to Category Manager.
- Reservation Confirmation Options - Option to show the allocated Area on the confirmation email, or to not send confirmation emails.

Redirection URL - Enter the URL to direct to after the online booking is complete.
✎ Please Note: The Redirection URL is a legacy setting and is not supported in the New Booking Engine. Properties using the New Booking Engine will remain on the RMS booking confirmation page after a reservation is completed. - Reservation Request Confirmation Text - Enter custom text for availability responses.
- Select Save.
