Information on using Triggered Correspondence for Abandoned Cart Quote reservations.
Overview
A RMS Booking Engine Pencil reservation can show as an Abandoned Cart Quote status reservation if the guest does not complete the reservation within the 15-minute timeframe.
For the Abandoned Cart Quote to occur, there has to have been a Surname, and either an email address or mobile number entered on the Guest details screen of the RMS Booking Engine.
Reservations in the Abandoned Cart Quote reservation status do not deduct from availability for the dates.
Properties can choose to follow up with Guests and attempt to convert this to a confirmed reservation to maximise revenue by using Triggered Correspondence.
The In Out Movement screen can be used to see Abandoned Cart Quote status reservations, using the Filter of Quote.

There are 2 options available for setup -
- Trigger Type = 'At the time of an action occurring'.
Rule = Reservation > Reservation Made.
- Trigger Type = 'X Periods before or after an action'.
Rule = .X Periods after Reservation Made.
Reservation Filters will then show the Reservation Status of Abandoned Cart.
Complete the Triggered Correspondence setup to send to the Primary Guest, and configure any required Exclusions.
