Linen is an optional feature available when using Housekeeping in RMS to record, report, and forecast laundry and linen requirements based on the number of Guests and Bed Configurations on a Reservation.
The Linen Numbers report can be used to view historical linen usage or forecast laundry and linen requirements based on the Reservations at the Property.
Linen is allocated to a Bed Configuration with the additional option for RMS to calculate linen based on the number of adults and children on a reservation, instead of only using the linen allocated to the bed configurations on the reservation.
Housekeepers can be setup with Staff Portal access to view their allocated tasks, the linen required and can update the linen used on completion of the task.

Setup
Go to Setup > Housekeeping > Linen.
- Select the  Add icon.
- Enter the Linen Type.
- Select Save/Exit.
Repeat for steps for all required Linen types.
• Setup > Property Options > Property Information.
• Select Edit on an existing Property.
• Housekeeping tab > select 'Linen to be calculated based on Adults and Children'.
• Select Save\Exit.
