Configure additional property information to display on your RMS Booking Engine, Guest Portal, and Quick Quote screens.

Overview

Extra Property Information allows each property to display key details such as a property description, features, nearby activities, business facilities, travel directions, and car parking details.

This information can be configured per property and is then shown to guests on the RMS Booking Engine (desktop and mobile), the Guest Portal, and the Quick Quote screen. Travel directions can also be included on online booking confirmations and used in correspondence templates via merge fields.

Where Extra Property Information Displays

RMS Booking Engine – Mobile View

Extra property information is accessed from the Hamburger Menu in the top left-hand corner of the Booking Engine.

RMS Booking Engine – Desktop View

Extra property information is displayed in the footer of the Booking Engine page.

Guest Portal

Extra property information is available from the top toolbar on the Guest Portal.

Quick Quote Screen

Extra property information is accessed from the Information icon next to the Property Name on the Quick Quote screen.

Setup

1. Navigate to Setup > Online Bookings > Online Options.

2. Select a Property (optional for businesses managing multiple properties).

3. Navigate to the Extra Information tab.

4. Enter the Property Description.

5. (Optional) Enter the Property Features.

6. (Optional) Enter the Things to Do.

7. (Optional) Enter the Business Facilities.

8. (Optional) Enter the Travel Directions.

   • These directions are also displayed on the Booking Confirmation page after a booking has been made online.

9. (Optional) Enter the Car Parking Details.

10. Select Save/Exit.

Additional Functionality

The information entered in Extra Property Information can be used in Correspondence as merge fields in Form Letter Setup.

Travel Directions are automatically added to the online booking confirmation when a booking is made on the RMS Booking Engine.
