Set the Booking Engine and portal colour theme

Information

Configure a personalised colour theme for the RMS Booking Engine and Portals within RMS. The custom colour theme enables Properties to override the default colours used on individual elements for all RMS Booking Engine sites, which include Facilities, Gift Cards, Ticketing, Passes and Tours Booking sites, Guest Portal & Corporate Portal.

Adjusting the Colour Theme

  1. Go to Setup > Online Bookings > Online Options.
  2. Select the Property.
  3. Navigate to the 'Accent Theme' tab.
  4. Select the Colour Option 'Custom Colours'.

  1. Optional: Select the checkbox 'Header'.
  2. Select the Background or Font box and select a Colour.
★ Tip: It is advised to use Contrasting Colours for the Background and Font.  If the same or similar colours are used, it may be hard to read the font text.

Use the up and down arrows on a colour selector to cycle through the colour input options including RGB, HSL & HEX.

⚠ Important: The RMS Booking Engine only uses the 'Call to Action Button' colour options.  All other colour options are not used on the RMS Booking Engine, but they are used on all other booking pages and portals.

 

Previewing the Colour Theme

  1. Select the 'Preview Colour Options' button to review colour selections.

✎ Please Note: A new tab will open in your browser revealing the updated colour selections.
★ Tip: The colours chosen will be used to replace the default colours on the RMS Booking Engine, Guest Portal and Corporate Portal.
