Auto Log Off automatically signs a User out of RMS after a set period of inactivity, helping protect your property's data on unattended devices.
Information
Auto Log Off is a security setting that ends a User's RMS session after a defined number of minutes of inactivity. It reduces the risk of unauthorised access when a computer is left unattended and signed in.
The setting is configured as part of your property's Password Management rules and applies to all Users accessing RMS.

Configuring Auto Log Off
In the Side Menu of RMS, go to Setup > Security.
- Navigate to the 'Password Management' tab.
- Enter the Auto Log Off period in minutes.
- Use the 'Save' icon to apply the change
★ Tip: The Maximum number of Minutes is 999. Leaving the number of minutes as "0" will disable Auto Log Off.
How Auto Log Off behaves with multiple tabs
The inactivity timer applies to your whole RMS session, not to each browser tab separately.
⚠ Important: If multiple tabs are open and any of them remain inactive for the set period, all tabs will be logged out.
