This guide explains how to log out of the Interactive Guest Portal on a device registered for Digital Check-in.
Overview
Use this procedure to sign out of the Interactive Guest Portal on a device used for Digital Check-in, for example at the end of a shift or before handing the device to another staff member.
Steps
- On the device signed in to the Interactive Guest Portal, locate the RMS logo in the bottom-left corner of the screen.

Left-click the RMS logo.
- Confirm the device returns to the Interactive Guest Portal login screen.
✎ Please Note: Logging out does not unregister the device from Digital Check-in - it only signs the current user out of the Interactive Guest Portal.
Switching to a Different Device
Logging out of the device returns it to the login screen but does not sever the device's connection to RMS. To register a different device (for example, replacing a small-screen tablet with a larger one), the RMS User must also log out of RMS and then log back in to sever the existing connection.
⚠ Important: After logging back in to RMS, register the new device using Register a device for Guest Portal Digital Check-in. Digital Check-in will then be sent to the newly registered device.
