This article describes how to connect RMS to AxisRooms and what data is exchanged between the two systems.
AxisRooms
AxisRooms is an online distribution platform that enables hotels and accommodation providers to manage rates, availability, and reservations across multiple online channels from a single interface.
This connection enables RMS to send availability and rate updates to AxisRooms, and receive reservations and cancellations directly into the RMS property management system.
Prerequisites
-
RMS: The Channel Manager module must be active on your RMS property.
You must have access to Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management. -
AxisRooms: An active AxisRooms account with your property listed.
You will need your AxisRooms credentials to complete the connection.
Connecting AxisRooms to RMS
To connect AxisRooms as a channel in RMS, follow the general Channel Connection process. This involves activating the channel in the RMS Channel Manager, mapping your properties, categories, and rate types, and then enabling the connection.

Operational Notes
- Each RMS Area must be mapped to a corresponding room type in AxisRooms before reservations can be received. Unmapped Areas will not receive bookings from this channel.
- If you move a Category or Area to a different property within an Enterprise setup, the existing channel mapping for that Area is removed. You will need to remap the Area to AxisRooms after the move.
- To view sync activity and errors, go to Setup > Online Bookings > Channel Management, select AxisRoom, and review the connection log.
