Additional Information
-
Per-Person Pricing and priceRanges
Seanuts uses per-person pricing. The rate amount sent to Seanuts for each occupied priceRange represents the cost per person at that occupancy level. For example, if priceRange2 is set to 100, this means 100 per person when two guests are staying, giving a total room rate of 200.
The number of priceRanges configured on Seanuts must match the maximum occupancy set up in RMS. For example, if the maximum occupancy in RMS is 3, Seanuts should have priceRange1, priceRange2, and priceRange3 configured. Only one priceRange per planGroup should be set up on the Seanuts extranet to ensure correct mapping. -
Guest Name Mapping
Seanuts sends the guest's first name and last name in a single field. RMS populates this combined name into both the First Name and Surname fields on the reservation. Properties that require separate first and last names may update these fields manually in RMS after the reservation is received. -
Address Mapping
The guest address is sent from Seanuts as a single field. RMS populates this into the Address Line 1 field on the reservation. Separate address components (Town/Suburb, State, Postcode, Country) are not received from Seanuts. -
Travel Agent and Booking Source
If Seanuts provides a SalesOfficeCompanyName in the reservation XML, this is mapped as the Source Travel Agent in RMS. If no SalesOfficeCompanyName is provided, the Travel Agent defaults to Seanuts.
