Instructions to set up Taxes on a Sundry in RMS.

Overview

Applied taxes on a Sundry can be set up to calculate from the Charge Amount or a combination of the Charge Amount and a specified number of related taxes, or based on an associated Tax Amount.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Accounting > Sundry.

1. Select 'Edit' on an existing Sundry.
   
    
2. Navigate to the 'Tax' tab.
3. Select an Available Tax.
4. Select the single arrow (>) to allocate the Tax to the Sundry.

5. Select the Method:

   • Use Amount
   • Use Amount + Previous Tax
   • Use Amount + All Previous Taxes
   • Based on Tax Amount From
   • Use Amount + Tax Amount From

   Repeat Steps 3 to 5 for each additional tax as required.

6. Select the up or down arrow to set the Calculation Order.
7. Select 'Save/Exit'.
