Instructions on mapping additional Interface Codes in RMS.

Overview

The Generic Financial Export is an export of all General Ledger Account Codes and Financial Revenue for the selected date range.

The Generic Financial Export is available to all customers using RMS and includes a number of export and configuration options that can be utilized

Both Accrual and Cash Accounting properties can use the Generic Financial Export, although mapping and selected export options will vary slightly depending on the Accounting Method of the property.

Up to 8 Additional Interface Codes can be entered across the 'Code' and 'Description' fields, each creating an individual column on the generated export file.

Use these fields to enter the additional codes required by the property's accounting software.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Accounting > Financial Interface.

1. Navigate to the Additional Interface Codes tab.
2. Enter the Additional Interface Codes and Descriptions.
3. Select Save/Exit.
