Charge Redirection enables diverting selected charges between Guest or Reservation Accounts and Reservation Account Types.

Overview

A Charge Redirection tab will be available on the Reservation Screen to divert charges to another Reservation Account Type on the same Reservation or an alternate Guest or Reservation Account.

Charge Redirection will apply to the specified charge transaction within the account, and divert the charge to be created on the selected account.

Charge Redirection is an optional feature that must be enabled in setup before it can be used.
This can be completed within the Accounting Options section.

Sundry Groupings can be used to simplify diverting similar Sundry Charges between accounts.

Redirect to Associated Account

Open the Reservation in RMS.

1. Navigate to the 'Charge Redirection' tab.
   
    
2. Select a Reservation Account Type for the Charge Type.
3. Select 'Save\Exit'.
   
    

Redirect to Guest or Reservation Account

Open the Reservation in RMS.

1. Navigate to the 'Charge Redirection' tab.
   
    
2. Select 'Add'.
   
    
3. Select the Search On option.
4. Enter the Search For text.
   Select the From and To dates (Optional).
5. Click Search.
6. Select the Charge to redirect.
7. Select the Account for redirection.

8. Select 'Save\Exit'.
