How to change the Default Colour Overlays on the Inhouse Interactive Map in RMS

Overview

Interactive Maps allow you to upload a visual map of your Property, which can be used to view availability or create reservations directly within RMS.

Colour Overlays are applied to highlight specific Areas on the map based on the selected Colour View. These overlays help Users visually differentiate between availability statuses and other filtered criteria.

You can customise the colours for:

• The 'Booked' Colour View, which highlights both available and reserved areas.

• Areas that match selected Attribute Filters.

• The Navigation Link, which highlights access points to additional linked maps.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Charts > Interactive Map.

1. Navigate to the Options icon.
   

    

2. Select the Colour for each Overlay Type.
3. Select 'Save/Exit'.
   

Usage Tips

The selected Colour Overlays will be applied to the ‘Booked’ Colour View on all Interactive Maps to visually represent:

• Area availability, and

• Areas that match selected Attribute filters

Additionally, the Colour Overlay chosen for the ‘Navigation Link’ will be used to highlight linked maps, regardless of the selected Colour View.
