Steps to correct a Meter Read processed incorrectly in RMS.
Overview
Utility Meters allow Users to record meter readings and apply utility charges to an Area.
The Previous Read Date for a meter determines the billing period when performing a Meter Read.
This article outlines the steps for setting the voiding an incorrect meter read, and resetting to the Previous Read Date and usage for a meter in RMS.

Guide
Open the Reservation in RMS.
- Select the required Account.
- Right click the Meter Charge.
- Select 'Void Transaction'.
- Select a Void Reason.
- Select 'Void Transaction'.
- Select 'Exit'.
- Select 'Meter Read'.
- Select the Previous Meter Read Date.
- Enter the Previous Meter Read.
- Select the Current Meter Read Date.
- Enter the Current Meter Read.

Select Process Current Read.
Repeat the steps for all reservations where a Meter Read has been processed incorrectly.
