Set up an alternate user for boomgate access

How to setup Alternate Users when using the Boomgate Module in RMS.

 

Overview

Boomgate access is a controlled entry system that typically uses barrier arms to manage vehicle entry.

Boomgate access numbers are generally associated to a reservation. 

An Alternate User can be configured to give access to individuals such as staff members, emergency services, tradespeople, and maintenance teams.

★ Tip: A subscription to the Boomgate module is required to use this feature.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Boomgate > Alternate Users.

  1. Select 'Add'.

  2. Enter the Alternate User.
  3. Select an Expiry Date.
  4. Select an Expiry Time.
  5. Enter the 'Access No' or select 'Generate No'.
  6. Select the required Access Type.
    Select the Zone (Optional).
    Enter a Mobile number (Optional).
  7. Select 'Save'.
