Quickly locate and open reservations from anywhere in RMS using the Toolbar Menu search shortcuts.

Overview

The Toolbar Menu Reservation Search in RMS provides a fast way to locate reservations using a range of search criteria, including:

• Guest Name
• Reservation Number
• RMS Online Confirmation Number
• Voucher Number
• Mobile Number
• Guest Surname
• Area Description

You can search for both current and future reservations, with options to:

• Open the reservation directly, or

• View the reservation on the Booking Chart.

The search function will automatically default to the last-used search type when you press Enter.

The Toolbar Menu itself offers quick access to frequently used features and can be customised per User to support an efficient workflow.

Reservation Search

Use the Toolbar Menu Reservation Search to quickly find a reservation by key guest or booking details.

1. Navigate to the Toolbar Menu.
2. In the Reservation Search field, enter one of the following:
   • Guest Name
   • Reservation Number
   • RMS Online Confirmation Number
   • Voucher Number
   • Mobile Number
   • Guest Surname
3. Hover over the Search icon to display options.
4. Choose one of the following:
   • Open Reservation – to view the reservation details directly.
   • Open Reservation in Booking Chart – to locate the reservation on the Booking Chart

Area Reservation Search

Use Area Reservation Search to locate reservations based on the Area Description.

1. In the Area Reservation Search field on the Toolbar Menu, enter the Area Description.

2. Hover over the Area icon to display available options.

3. Select one of the following:

   • Open Reservation – opens the reservation details.

   • Open Reservation in Booking Chart – locates the reservation visually on the Booking Chart.
