Open a New Day with Un-Arrived Reservations

Configuring RMS to Allow Opening a New Accounting Date with Unarrived Reservations

 

Overview

All reservations don't have to be checked in before rolling over the Accounting System Date. You can configure RMS to permit the New Day/Night Audit to proceed, even if there are reservations that haven’t arrived yet for that day. 

⚠ Important: This option enables users to complete New Day/Night Audit with reservations not yet checked-in for the current accounting date.

 

Guide

In RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > General Information.

  1. Navigate to the 'Reservation Options' tab.
  2. Select the checkbox 'Allow New Day/Night Audit Utility to continue with Arrivals Not Checked In'.
  3. Save/Exit.
  4. Log out of RMS and log back in for this option to take effect.
