A Loyalty program rewarding guests based on nights stayed at a property in RMS.
Overview
Guest Loyalty by Nights is a guest rewards program with credit accrual determined by a guest's time spent at each property in RMS.
Credits can be earned on sign-up, birthdays, the first stay at a new property, and every x number of nights stayed at any property up to the reservation cap.
Guests can be enrolled in the rewards program on their Guest Profile in RMS.
Credits can be redeemed via the Guest's Reservation account.
Guest rewards programs inspire loyalty, encouraging return visits with incentives that add value for the guest.
Key Features
The following features are available with the Guest Loyalty by Nights module in RMS:
- Encourage repeat guest visits with a tailored rewards program.
- Reward guests with credits for future stays based on their time at each property.
- Inspire loyalty by offering enticing discount credits for each stay.
- Offer bonus credits for sign-up and birthdays.
- For Enterprise properties, Loyalty Credits are assigned to the Guest's Enterprise Account for use at any property.
- The "Guest Loyalty Credits" Report is used for tracking Guest Loyalty Credits.
Reports > Management > Guests > Guest Loyalty Credits.
Setup Requirements
The following setup is required to use Guest Loyalty by Nights in RMS:
- Unassigned Credit Note for Guest Loyalty Credits.
- Form Letter and/or SMS for Sign-up Communications.
- Module Activation.
- Module Configuration.
Module Activation
In the side menu of RMS, go to the Module Market.
- Select the Available modules.
- Select the relevant Property. (Optional)
- Search for Loyalty by Nights.
- Activate the 'Guest Loyalty by Nights' module.
- Review the Terms & Conditions.
- Select the 'Activate Guest Loyalty by Nights' button.
Once Activated:
- Go to the Activated page
- Select the Property. (Optional)
- Search for 'Loyalty by Nights'
- Click on the Locked Icon.
- You will need to contact the RMS Customer Support Team for the Daily Password.

- Once activated, you can start the Module Configuration.
Module Configuration
In the side menu of RMS, go to Module Market.
- Go to the Activated Button.
- Select the Property. (Optional)
- Search for 'Loyalty by Nights'
- Click the Configuration icon.
Sign Up Credit
The entered credit amount will be rewarded once on initial sign-up to the loyalty program.
- Enter the Sign up Credit Amount.
- Enter the Sign up Credit Expiry Period. (Value and Dropdown) (Optional)
- Select the Sign-up Sundry.
This needs to be an Unassigned Credit Note.
Birthday Credit
The entered credit amount will be rewarded once annually on the date selected as the guest's birthday.
- Enter the Birthday Credit Amount.
- Enter the Birthday Credit Expiry Period. (Value and Dropdown) (Optional)
- Select the Birthday Sundry.
This needs to be an Unassigned Credit Note.
Park/Property Stayed Credit
The credit amount entered will be rewarded for the first reservation at each different property after the number of nights entered.
- Enter the Park Stayed Credit Amount.
- Enter the Number of Nights at a New Park.
- Enter the Park Stayed Credit Expiry Period. (Value and Dropdown) (Optional)
- Select the Park Stayed Sundry.
This needs to be an Unassigned Credit Note.
Nights Stayed Credit
The credit amount entered will be rewarded when a reservation at the property meets the number of nights entered up to the maximum nights entered as the cap amount.
- Enter the Nights Stayed Credit Amount.
- Enter the Every X Nights Accrual Value and Up To X Nights Limit.
- Enter the Nights Stayed Credit Expiry Period. (Value and Dropdown) (Optional)
- Select the Nights Stayed Credit Unassigned Credit Note.
Credit Expiry Sundry
If you have configured an Expiry Period for any of the above Credit Functions, you MUST select a Sundry Charge to offset the credit.
Correspondence
Navigate to the 'Correspondence' menu.
Select the Correspondence that you wish to send on the following Loyalty Actions.
This requires a Form Letter and/or SMS template to be created first.
Exclusions
Navigate to the 'Exclusions' menu.
The Exclusions option allows you to choose where loyalty credits can be earned. Here you can choose from:
- Company
- Rate/Tariff Types
- Categories/Room Types
- Booking Sources
- Travel Agents
- Discounts
Select the Exclusion Type and use the button to move items to the 'Include' column.
On Sign-up
Navigate to the 'On Sign-up' menu.
Select the checkbox for the Guest Details to include on the Guest Loyalty Sign-up Form.
Select the 'Save/Exit'.
The Guest Loyalty Program will now be available for sign-up on the Guest Profile, Guest Portal, and on the RMS Booking Engine.
Loyalty members will accrue credits based on the Guest Loyalty Credits setup on the module configuration.
