Information on the Maya Payment Gateway available to properties in the Philippines.
Overview
Maya is a Payment Gateway available in RMS to provide PCI-compliant credit card storage and payment processing.
Payment Gateways are an eCommerce application provided by merchant services to authorise and process credit card payments in a PCI-compliant manner.
Connecting a Payment Gateway account with RMS can provide secure credit card storage, payment processing, and refunds directly from within RMS.
Tip! Before activating the Payment Gateway in RMS, please make sure the setup with Maya has been completed and the relevant credentials received.
Please Note! Maya is only available for properties operating in the Philippines.

Please Note! Receipt - Card Details supports Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and JCB only.
Please Note! CC Token - Reservation (pre-auth only) means a credit card token on a reservation can only be captured during the pre-authorisation flow. Standalone token creation on a reservation is not supported.
Transaction Type Definitions
EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale):
Electronic payments processed with the card present using a connected device at the time of sale.
eCommerce:
All card transactions processed electronically via the Internet. This includes payments processed in RMS with a credit card token or card details, as well as payments processed via the RMS Booking Engine and Guest Portal.
Blind Refunds:
Blind refunds permit users to refund any nominated value through the payment gateway to any available credit card token. The ability to perform a blind refund must be enabled in the payment gateway account prior to being enabled in RMS.
Voids
A transaction can be voided on the same day before midnight (12:00 am GMT+8) of the transaction date. When successfully voided, the hold amount is released instantly.
Example:
- Transaction date: 6 January 2022, 9:00 am GMT+8
- Can be voided until: 6 January 2022, 11:59 pm GMT+8
Refunds
Refunds can be issued the day after the transaction date, starting after midnight (12:00 am GMT+8). After a successful refund, the time it takes for the amount to appear in the customer's account depends on their issuing bank or e-wallet processing times.
Refunds can be processed up to 180 days from the date of the transaction.
Please Note! For transactions between 180 days and 1 year old, manual processing is available. Contact Maya directly to complete this.
Example:
- Transaction date: 6 January 2022, 9:00 am GMT+8
- Can be refunded from: 7 January 2022, 12:00 am GMT+8
- Refund window closes: 5 July 2022 (180 days from transaction date)
Guide
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.
- Select Edit on an existing Property.
- Navigate to the Payment Gateway tab.
- Select the Ecommerce toggle.
- Select Maya as the Payment Gateway.
- Enter the Public Key (provided by Maya).
- Enter the Secret Key (provided by Maya).
(Optional) Set the Pre Authorisation Calculation option. - Select Save/Exit.
