All card transactions processed electronically via the Internet. This includes payments processed in RMS with a credit card token or card details, as well as payments processed via the RMS Booking Engine and Guest Portal.
Blind Refunds:
Blind refunds permit users to refund any nominated value through the payment gateway to any available credit card token. The ability to perform a blind refund must be enabled in the payment gateway account prior to being enabled in RMS.
Voids
A transaction can be voided on the same day before midnight (12:00 am GMT+8) of the transaction date. When successfully voided, the hold amount is released instantly.
Example:
- Transaction date: 6 January 2022, 9:00 am GMT+8
- Can be voided until: 6 January 2022, 11:59 pm GMT+8
Refunds
Refunds can be issued the day after the transaction date, starting after midnight (12:00 am GMT+8). After a successful refund, the time it takes for the amount to appear in the customer's account depends on their issuing bank or e-wallet processing times.
Refunds can be processed up to 180 days from the date of the transaction.
Example:
- Transaction date: 6 January 2022, 9:00 am GMT+8
