This article describes how to complete the connection in RMS to Total Parks, and outlines the data exchanged between Total Parks and RMS.
Overview
Total Parks is an online booking and distribution channel for holiday parks, caravan parks, and campgrounds. It can be connected to RMS via the Channel Manager. Once connected, Total Parks and RMS exchange availability, rate, restriction, and reservation data automatically.
This article also outlines which data is sent and received between Total Parks and RMS, and provides a reference for the supported and unsupported functions of the integration.

- Total Parks supports single reservations and full reservation detail, including Adults, Children, Infants, dates, Category, Rate Type, Booking Source, OTA Notes, and Travel Agent.
- Live availability is sent for up to 365 days in advance.
- Modifications and cancellations are not exchanged through the channel. Total Parks defers both to the park operator, so any change to a Total Parks booking must be made directly on the reservation in RMS.
- Email confirmations for Total Parks bookings are sent by Total Parks, not by RMS.
- Total Parks does not collect guest address details at checkout. Surname, Given Name, Phone, and Email are passed through; Address, Town/Suburb, State, Postcode, and Country are not.
How to Connect

Request Module Activation.
Contact RMS Sales to request activation of the OTA REST API module, specifying partner name 'Total Parks'. -
Request API Credentials.
Once the module is activated, submit a Support Ticket to the RMS Customer Support team requesting the following:
RMS Client ID
Webservice Password -
Complete setup with Total Parks.
Provide the credentials to the Total Parks team to complete configuration and testing.
Once saved, the Total Parks login and password will display (this will be required for the next step). -
Configure Mapping in RMS.
Map your room types and rate plans to the 'Total Parks' channel in RMS.
Follow the steps in the OTA REST API Setup Guide, starting from Step 6.
