This article outlines the steps for configuring T-Codes in RMS to work with QuickBooks Class Tracking.

Overview

QuickBooks offers optional Class Tracking to help segment and track account balances by department, business unit, or location. This feature is available in both QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Plus.

Why Use T-Codes with Class Tracking?

• Improve financial visibility across departments or properties

• Automate class assignment in QuickBooks exports

• Reduce manual entry and improve accounting accuracy

• Simplify reconciliation and reporting for multi-location businesses

Configuration

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Lookup Tables > T-Codes.

1. Select the 'Associated To' as 'G/L Acc Code'.
   
    
2. Enter the Class Tracking segment in 'T0' for each General Ledger Account Code.
   
    
3. Save/Exit.
