Overview
Charge Transfer is an account action that allows you to move selected charges from one account to another.
You can transfer individual charges using one of the following methods:
- Searching for in-house accounts
- Selecting from related accounts
- Entering the specific destination account number
Charges that are not eligible for individual transfer will still appear in the transaction list but will be grayed out or unavailable for selection.
Once transferred, each charge will automatically include a comment indicating the originating account, ensuring clear audit trails and accurate recordkeeping.

✎ Please Note: Once a charge has been transferred, the original charge will display as Void against the transaction in internal RMS reports, including the Audit Trail Report (Reports > Accounting > Audit Trail). This is expected behaviour and confirms the charge has moved to the destination account. The Void status does not appear on guest-facing documents such as Receipts, Tax Invoices, or Statements.
