Information on the OpenEdge Payment Gateway

Overview

OpenEdge is an eCommerce Payment Gateway available in RMS to provide PCI-compliant credit card storage and payment processing.

Payment Gateways are an eCommerce application provided by merchant services to authorise and process credit card payments in a PCI-compliant manner.

Connecting a Payment Gateway account with RMS provides secure credit card storage, payment processing, and refunds directly from within RMS.

Supported Functions

Transaction Type Definitions

EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale):
Electronic payments processed with the card present using a connected device
at the time of sale.

eCommerce:
All card transactions processed electronically via the Internet.
This includes payments processed in RMS with a credit card token or card details,
as well as payments processed via the RMS Booking Engine and Guest Portal.

Blind Refunds:
Blind refunds permit users to refund any nominated value through the
payment gateway to any available credit card token.
The ability to perform a blind refund must be enabled in the payment gateway
account prior to being enabled in RMS.

Setup Guide - Payment Gateway

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.

1. Select Edit on an existing Property.
   
    
2. Navigate to the 'Gateway' tab.
3. Select the toggle 'Ecommerce Online Payment Gateway'.
4. Select 'OpenEdge' as the Payment Gateway.
5. Enter the Account Token (Provided by OpenEdge).
6. Enter the Web ID ( Provided by OpenEdge).
7. Enter the Terminal ID (Provided by OpenEdge).
8. Enter the Web Auth Key (Provided by OpenEdge).
   (Optional) Select Allow Blind Refunds.
9. Select and enter the Pre Authorisation Amount.
   (Optional) Select the checkbox 'Warn if no Pre Authorisation exists on Check-in'.
10. Select Save/Exit.
    

Setup Guide - EFTPOS

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.

1. Select Edit on an existing Property.
   
    
2. Navigate to the 'Payment Gateway' tab.
3. Select the toggle 'EFTPOS Terminal Payment Gateway'.
4. Select 'OpenEdge' as the Payment Gateway.
5. Enter the Web ID for Card Present (Credit Card).
6. Enter the Terminal ID for Card Present (Credit Card).
7. Enter the Web Auth Key for Card Present (Credit Card).
8. Enter the Web ID for Card Present (Debit Card).
9. Enter the Terminal ID for Card Present (Debit Card).
10. Enter the Web Auth Key for Card Present (Debit Card).
    (Optional) Select the checkbox 'Allow Blind Refunds'.
11. Select Save/Exit.
