A General Ledger Account Code is a unique identifier assigned to each account within the financial system's chart of accounts. The General Ledger Account Code import offers a streamlined method for transferring all accounting codes into RMS. Import Overview
- The import file must be in a comma-delimited .csv format (Field Delimiter).
- If a data field within this file contains commas, it should be surrounded with "double quotes" (Text Delimiter).
- Microsoft Excel is able to save using a .csv format that should match these requirements.
- RMS is able to determine whether the first record is a header record.

Import Validation
To ensure that your data is clean, consistent, and ready for the Live production environment after it has been validated and imported into the Training environment, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Setup > Accounting > GL Acc Codes for data review.
- Highlight a General Ledger Account Code and select the 'Edit'
icon.
- Review the General Ledger Account Code.
- Confirm the Description.
- Review the Grouping.
- Verify the 'Include in Accommodation Revenue for Reporting' selection.
