Information on the Razorpay Payment Gateway

Overview

Razorpay is a Payment Gateway available in RMS to provide PCI-compliant credit card payment processing.

Payment Gateways are an eCommerce application provided by merchant services to authorize and process credit card payments in a PCI-compliant manner.

Connecting a Payment Gateway account with RMS can provide secure credit card storage, payment processing, and refunds directly from within RMS.

Please Note! Razorpay is only available for properties operating in India.

Important! Instant Refunds incur a nominal fee by Razorpay, to return the funds to the origin account without the standard 3-5 business day turnaround.

Functions

Transaction Type Definitions

EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale):
Electronic payments processed with the card present using a connected device
at the time of sale.

eCommerce:
All card transactions processed electronically via the Internet.
This includes payments processed in RMS with a credit card token or card details,
as well as payments processed via the RMS Booking Engine and Guest Portal.

Blind Refunds:
Blind refunds permit users to refund any nominated value through the
payment gateway to any available credit card token.
The ability to perform a blind refund must be enabled in the payment gateway
account prior to being enabled in RMS.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.

1. Select Edit on an existing Property.
   
    
2. Navigate to the 'Payment Gateway' tab.
3. Select the 'Ecommerce' Toggle.
4. Select 'Razorpay' as the Payment Gateway.
5. Enter the Razorpay API Key.
6. Enter the API Secret Key.
   Select the checkbox 'Instant Refund' (Optional).

7. Select Save/Exit.
