Set up a job type in Job Management

A Job Type is a task category used in Job Management.

Overview

Job Management is available to track maintenance tasks on an Area, Asset or Dwelling and includes charging and payment options.

Job Types will be available for selection when creating a task for an Asset, Area or Dwelling.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Lookup Tables > Job Type.

  1. Select the RMS toolbar ‘Add’ icon used in the Job Type lookup table, shown as a plus button, indicating where to click to create a new Job Type.   2. Enter the Job Type.

The Job Type will be available for selection when creating a task in Job Management.
