Information on the BridgePay Payment Gateway
Overview
BridgePay (BridgeComm) is a Payment Gateway integrated with RMS, offering PCI-compliant credit card storage and payment processing. A payment gateway is an eCommerce solution provided by merchant services to securely authorize and process credit card transactions in compliance with PCI standards.
By linking a payment gateway account with RMS, users can securely store credit card information, process payments, and issue refunds directly from their RMS account.

Transaction Type Definitions
EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale):
Electronic payments processed with the card present using a connected device
at the time of sale.
eCommerce:
All card transactions processed electronically via the Internet.
This includes payments processed in RMS with a credit card token or card details,
as well as payments processed via the RMS Booking Engine and Guest Portal.
Blind Refunds:
Blind refunds permit users to refund any nominated value through the
payment gateway to any available credit card token.
The ability to perform a blind refund must be enabled in the payment gateway
account prior to being enabled in RMS.
Ecommerce Configuration
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.
- Select Edit on an existing Property.
- Navigate to the 'Payment Gateway' tab.
- Toggle the 'Ecommerce Online Payment Gateway' icon.
- Select 'BridgePay (BridgeComm)' as the Gateway Provider.
- Enter the Private Key (Provided by BridgePay).
- Enter the Public Key (Provided by BridgePay).
Select the checkbox 'Allow Blind Refunds' (Optional).
Select the checkbox 'Disable Zip Code Field' (Optional). - Select the required Pre-Authorisation option.
Select the checkbox 'Warn if no Pre-Auth exists on Check-in' (Optional). - Select 'Save/Exit'.
EFTPOS Credit Card Terminal Configuration
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.
- Select 'Edit' on an existing Property.
- Navigate to the 'Payment Gateway' tab.
- Toggle the 'EFTPOS Terminal Payment Gateway' icon.
- Select 'BridgePay (BridgeComm)' as the Gateway Provider.
- Enter the Username (Provided by BridgePay).
- Enter the Password (Provided by BridgePay).
- Enter the Merchant Code (Provided by BridgePay).
- Enter the Merchant Account Code (Provided by BridgePay).
Select the checkbox 'Allow Blind Refunds' (Optional). - Select 'Save/Exit'.
EFTPOS Terminal Setup
In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Lookup Tables > EFTPOS (Pymt Gateway).
- Select Add.
- Select the Property.
- Enter a unique Description.
- Enter the BridgePay UUID as the Station No (Provided by BridgePay).
- Select 'Save/Exit'.
Log back in to ensure the database updates and reflects the modifications.
