Information on the Till Payment Payment Gateway 

Overview

Till Payment is a Payment Gateway available in RMS to provide PCI-compliant credit card storage and payment processing.

Payment Gateways are an eCommerce application provided by merchant services to authorise and process credit card payments in a PCI-compliant manner.

Connecting a Payment Gateway account with RMS provides secure credit card storage, payment processing, and refunds directly from within RMS.

A Credit Card Token will be created using the entered card details on a Credit Card Receipt if an existing token does not exist.

Supported Functions

Transaction Type Definitions

EFTPOS (Electronic Funds Transfer at Point of Sale):
Electronic payments processed with the card present using a connected device
at the time of sale.

eCommerce:
All card transactions processed electronically via the Internet.
This includes payments processed in RMS with a credit card token or card details,
as well as payments processed via the RMS Booking Engine and Guest Portal.

Blind Refunds:
Blind refunds permit users to refund any nominated value through the
payment gateway to any available credit card token.
The ability to perform a blind refund must be enabled in the payment gateway
account prior to being enabled in RMS.

Tip! Guest Portal Payments during the Pre Check-in process are not available with this payment gateway. Only standard Guest Portal Payments are available. Reverse Receipt is only available on the same accounting date as the original Receipt was created.

Guide

In the side menu of RMS, go to Setup > Property Options > Property Information.

1. Select Edit on an existing Property.
   
    
2. Navigate to the 'Payment Gateway' tab.
3. Select the Toggle 'Ecommerce'.
4. Select 'Till Payment' as the Payment Gateway.
5. Enter the API Key (Provided by Till Payment).
6. Enter the API Username (Provided by Till Payment).
7. Enter the Password (Provided by Till Payment).
8. Enter the Shared Secret (Provided by Till Payment).
9. Select & Enter the Pre Authorisation Amount.
   (Optional) Select the checkbox 'Warn if no Pre Authorisation exists on Check-in'.
10. Select Save/Exit.
